Thanks for response.

You are probably gonna think oh not again, but for a noob like myself, would you please be kind and spare a minute to tell me whether it can be done and how? if its reeeealy complex, then thats fine... But i just wanted to know whether it can be done coz i have just bought cambridge audio stream magic 6 and realized it cant actually read off samba server that boxee box serves, and will only read off upnp.. I like just leaving mh boxee box on rather than my computer all the time..

I found a way : Install the boxee hacks, http://boxeed.in/ then Install twonky : http://www.twonkyforum.com/downloads/7.2.6-2/ Linux i686 glibc 2.9

OMG. .I may finally be able to get rid of nas after all then..just one question, it's been a while since I installed anything on boxed. Mine is hacked but could you tell me how I can install this zip file? It's really been a while..

then

You need to telnet to the boxee and install from there.
I put it in a USB stick , go to the mounted directory, and used the unzip command from the unix prompt. Then follow the instructions on the Linux.howto file (this file is part of the zip)
