Possibility to associate a specific layer with the profile curve

As opposed to the current definition, where the geometric center of the total cross section is at the profile curve. Each layer could have a property Alignment: { None, Back, Belly, Center }.
Possible UI implementation: In the layers dialog, give every tab a radio button called "Align with profile" or similar. Next to it there is a listbox with the alignment options that gets enabled or disabled depending on the radio button. The radio buttons ensure that exactly one layer is aligned with the profile curve.
Or do it the other way around: Give the profile curve some additional settings that determine how it relates to the layers:
- Alignment: Back, Belly, Center
- Relative to: Either a layer or the complete cross section
