Tell us the problem or your need

I've tried many times to install davinci resolve on linux mint. Every time I try it just stops me. I don't know what I keep doing wrong. I hope that maybe you guys might be able to help me.

Describe the solution you'd like

I feel that by putting davinci resolve or even premiere pro on the bottles app store at some point it could help people like me who have trouble installing davinci resolve know matter what we do. I've tried downloading Kdenlive and shotcut as a replacement but it just doesn't feel the same. The fact that davinci resolve is industry standard also might encourage more people to switch over to linux if there is an easier way to use it. Putting it in the Bottles app store will do just that.

DaVinci Resolve is available on Linux, I don't understand what you want? Adobe software have a really hard time running under Wine, so if it doesn't run in Wine it can't work on Bottles either

I know Davinci Resolve is on Linux it’s just that no matter what I do it just doesn’t work. Personally I posted this feature request as a way to vent since I’m at my wits end when it comes to this more then actually getting help. I tried to install Davinci resolve using Bottles but it didn’t work. I know that the Bottles AppStore is curated by the community and not you guys but still I don’t know where to go. I don’t know much about coding really.
