Epic Games Store Installer never finishes

Trying to install Epic Games Store from the Installers in a new bottle. The installer is stuck on "Processing Installer Steps" and stays that way for 8+ hours.

In version 2022.8.28-brescia-2 of bottles, the installer worked. The application continues to work now that it is upgraded to version 2022.10.14.1. On a different machine with a fresh install of 2022.10.14.1 the installer does not finish.

Same problem here.

When I start Bottles from terminal this message appears:
