dataset splitting

We're trying to use your model to train on voice conversion for a university project. we just want to know how you split your dataset. I know each session has one male and female, and I should split the testing and validation accordingly. what I'm missing though is how you split them on your computer(for me to understand better), and do you have a way for us to split it in order to avoid doing any errors from our end.
