Listen audiobooks
I would like to read my audiobook with SoundWaves : audiobooks are closer to podcasts than music: chapters, resume playback, delete after reading, etc.
I do not know if it's complicated to add a phone folder as a podcast / audiobook source. If you can, I will appreciate this feature.
@JohanPy I'm with you a 100%. I too would love this feature, and I actually have started making the first initial steps towards supporting audiobooks.
However, the bad news is that I feat this feature is still going to take a long time to get finished, since there is a lot of work to do.

@JohanPy That said. You are welcome to help by starting to think about how you would integrate audiobooks form a UI perspective - if you have any interest in that kind of work :)
I have no idea for a specific interface for audio books, I saw this as a simple addition of a "local" podcast. We would add the path of the folder to be checked instead of the url. The operation would be the same as for the conventional podcast. But it may not be a good idea, I'm not good at designing interfaces...
