BedrockRuntime ConverseAPI: Support for Anthropic Citations
Describe the feature
Anthropic's Message API Citations feature enables you to add source documents within your content and receive detailed citations from them.
Currently, the Converse API supports "document" types within the content field, but this does not interface with Anthropic's Citation Feature.
Use Case
This is extremely important in RAG use cases where mitigating hallucinations and verifying information sources is necessary.
Proposed Solution
Extend the current document field in the converse api to interface with Anthropic's Citations feature if requested
