Can someone explain the available modes?

I can see in the examples and in the library the 3 modes: BME68X_FORCED_MODE BME68X_SEQUENTIAL_MODE BME68X_PARALLEL_MODE

Nowhere those 3 modes are explained, with their correlated limitations...
