Sync on Luma

Hi,

I recently installed this RGB mod into my N64 and would appreciate some advice on my situation.

currently, I am attempting to hook up my N64 to my flatscreen via EU scart using a GBS Control upscaler however I encountered a lot of syncing issues with the Csync install and was advised to use sync on luma instead, however while looking through the many variations of this board I am not sure how to enable sync on luma.

This is the image I got out of the upscaler using the csync configuration on the board(meaning the CS pad was connected to R16), and a scart cable with no resistors on pin 20, however I did try with a 300ohm, 330ohm, and 470ohm resistors on the wire going to pin 20 of the scart connector but only got varying levels of this, the best being the 470ohm, however that image was still very unstable

I'm very sure that I misunderstand a lot of the concepts here but if I could get some help on this I'd really appreciate it
