Love this project! I was wondering if it would work when running as part of a Cordova/PhoneGap application running on Android?

Sure. You could even get more direct access to the mic that way.

@shahar3012 : This plugin is not up to date and furthermore, is using a deprecated library and module. I would suggest you either :

  • To use quiet.js which is also an open source, but working plugin in JS which can be integrated in Cordova.
  • To go for a paying solution such as CHIRP.IO if you are whiling to pay
