[Request] Invert feature
I would like to have an option where I could have the keys disabled by default and activate them when I choose to. The reason is that I often listen to spotify but the media keys don't work until I disable them in chrome from every tab, chrome seems to have a higher priority...
Sorry for reviving the issue but I will approach this a bit differently: I usually have a GAZILLION youtube pages and a couple soundcloud pages around, and hence trying to pause the music results in a bazillion youtube videos playing at the same time. I love how this extension has a toggle button, but an option to have tabs unregistered by default would just make this extension perfect. In fact I edited the extension and offloaded it myself (inserted this line at background.js 88: unregisterTab(sender.tab.id);) and that was it. I would love to do a pull request but I never developed a chrome extension before, so I don't know how to implement an option for that, sorry
Any plans to see this feature implemented in the store version? I'm currently using it sideloaded with the edit @MuhsinFatih suggested and it's working fine, but I'd like to have it installed normally.
With the new update to chrome, you can right click the extension and deny it permission until you click the extension on any page, which in a way achieves the requested behavior
There are several problems affecting tab management but I think this particular issue can now be closed since Chrome can be set up to provide requested behavior
