Vorta Window disappears when switching to other application windows

Description

I can open the Vorta Window from the top menu bar's Vorta Icon > Vorta for Borg Backup.

But as soon as I either Alt-Tab to another active application or point + click to another running application's window, the Vorta Window "disappears".

By disappearing I mean that I

• can only again see it when I minimize all other windows in front of it
• or by again using the mouse, clicking the Vorta icon in the top menu bar of MacOS
• can not Alt-Tab back into Vorta's window as it's not in the list of running application when hitting Alt-Tab

For me, a heavy keyboard user, this is rather unsatisfying and I hope this usability glitch can be fixex/optimized.

This appears to be a macOS specific issue. I tested the same behavior on Linux (Debian 12 with XFCE), and Alt+Tab works as expected as long as the Vorta window is open (i.e. not minimized to the tray).

I doubt we can fix this, since we run Vorta as background app. That's a macOS setting to hide the app from the Dock. Since we only really need it in the menu bar.
