Looks interesting, can you make a PR with an update to the README.rst?

ThomasWaldmann avatar Oct 25 '20 16:10 ThomasWaldmann

Sure.

Hi @redmop and @ThomasWaldmann, Proxborg was obsoleted. It seems that this issue is no longer available.

Proxborg said on its own repository that:

NOTE: With release of Proxmox Backup Server this project became obsolete and is not maintained anymore. You may still use it, but I suggest PBS instead! PBS is superior in each field. :-)

Hah, that was short-lived...

@anatsuk1 can you make a PR removing it again?

ThomasWaldmann avatar Feb 16 '21 17:02 ThomasWaldmann

I wouldn't yet. Proxborg and PBS have different niches. Proxborg can upload to many cloud services via rclone/rsync. It also works with rsync.net and others where PBS does not. I'll take over maintaining proxborg if I have to.

OK, so we keep it. Thanks!

Hi all,

The funny thing is that Pull Request #44 is not merged yet. I think @redmop must do "I copied and pasted directly from their repo" once again. Their repo is fixed quite in the past

ghost avatar Feb 17 '21 15:02 ghost

Hah. Well, it could be merged if the minor grammar issues would be cleaned up.

ThomasWaldmann avatar Feb 17 '21 17:02 ThomasWaldmann

I don't know how to fix it. It conflicts.

Here is the text.
