Suggestion - Side Bar

I looked for a place to send a suggestion in the package center, but I didn't find it. So if there is other place to put it, sorry :/

I would be great to have a side bar with for example recent list of notes or notebook. I know we can get it with the dropdown menu. But if it is always loaded there, it is a bit more agile.

The id solution seems like a good work around for both problems.
