highlight the difference to LiveView offical client

As someone who came to this project through Google search, the question mark I had in mind was what's the difference between this and the official LiveView client and I didn't find it mentioned in the README.

Amending this information improves the chance the searcher downloads this to try.

The First difference I can think of is this one runs on Linux desktop.

It helps to mention of this uses the same protocol as LiveView (i.e. it's considered a LiveView client from the tablet's prospective)

Hi, thanks this is hepful feedback, I'll write something in the Readme. Please note, however, that the protocol is not the same as the official LiveView from remarkable. The protocol here is VNC's RFB "Remote Frame Buffer". It allows to share the pixel-by-pixel contents of the screen in real time. What LiveView uses is a custom protocol on top of HTTP which sends the pen events, and the client uses the stroke data to reproduce the graphics. The data is routed via the cloud. This leads to a very laggy and error-prone design where strokes go missing and the eraser is not properly reproduced. The advantages of LiveView would be vectorial rendering allowing arbitrary high quality scaling, proper rendering of gray, and multipage display.

For me the key aspect is regarding privacy: as pointed out, data is not sent through corporate cloud infrastructure.
