Speed of i2c module

What is the actual speed of the i2c module? I guess the default 100kHz mode. Is there a possibility to control the mode? 100kHz or 400kHz or even 3.4MHz mode ? If not, please note it in the documentation. The documentation (summary) only provides the information that there exsist diffrent modes of i2c, but doesn't specify which are implemented.
