Document Printing
Hello,
Great plugin! I am passing along a feature request from one of my educational clients who is using your plugin with schools. They have requested the ability to easily print documents. Is there any way a feature could be added that would put a link on the Read tab that would say "Print" and then have it load a blank page without the surrounding BP content so it can JUST print the contents of the document?
Thanks so much!
Ken
Good suggestion. There is a Print button on the rich text editor, but obviously this is not usable for non-editors.

Agree! This would be definitely a good and useful feature!
+1 for this feature. A simple print icon on the read view of each doc would be great for all users, whether or not they can edit.
Another +1 for this feature. Would love to see this.
Update: Instead of reinventing the wheel, I looked at the top two printing plugins available for wordpress CleanPrint (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/cleanprint-lt/), and PrintFriendly (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/printfriendly/)
After using both, I have found CleanPrint naturally integrated pretty darn well, don't ask me how, automatically it is able to pick up only the document and print it, excluding all else. Printfriendly integrates as well but doesn't pick the document content only but the whole page, though it allows users to delete the other items on the page for printing, CleanPrint naturally is a better choice in this case. The only downside is CleanPrint shows some ads, a problematic for educational student conference website.
A example of the integration can be found here: http://community.thepharmacopedia.com/docs/position-paper-1/
A print stylesheet would probably actually do most of the work here.
