Unable to use middle mouse button

Using v0.99.529

I am unable to use the middle mouse button without using Windows Compatibility Settings. I have TPs set to my middle mouse button and when I use this wrapper, the hotkey goes away and I can't scroll through my hotkeyed skills with the scroll wheel. When I use the config file and set nocompatmodefix=true, the hotkey shows up again and I can scroll through skills as normal.

That is strange. I'll look into it, hopefully I can remap input messages or something. .

I do use the middle mouse, latest version d2dx with plugy 14.02 and d2 1.14d, without compatibility settings, and I don't have this issue

Maybe you need to rebind it after turning off compat mode? Perhaps it shows up differently to the game.

I'm on 1.13c using Plugy 14.02. I use Oskros' fork of Planqi's BH loot filter v1.9.9.a as well (loaded using Plugy's config file). I have a wireless mouse (Logitech G602), so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

But I definitely wasn't able to use the mouse and I couldn't re-bind it, when I tried it wouldn't recognize the button press. It's as though the middle mouse button and scroll wheel no longer existed. In the Options > Configure Controls menu, I couldn't scroll up and down with the scroll wheel and the Select Previous/Next Skill functions weren't mapped to anything anymore and just showed None.

I'll see if I can reproduce. I don't have a Logitech mouse, but it shouldn't really matter either,

Reproduced. For some reason, D2 doesn't seem to recognize the "modern" mousebutton codes from Vista and newer. I'll see if I can figure out what it thinks "Mouse 3" is.

I'm also using 1.13c just because there is no way to play it without a loot filter. To be able to bind mouse scroll it need to be run in compatibility mode. They fixed that in 1.14a patch so there is no need for compatibility mode for ver. 1.14 and up.
