Random short screen flickering
It's a minor issue nontheless I will report it for the sake of completeness. Sometimes a random screen flicker occurs, like a black frame for a really short time or like the game window is reinitializing itself. No idea where this is coming from. Most noticeable in act 2 because of the shiny desert.

I can add that I have experienced the same kind of black frame flickering. I thought that it might be related to VSync being disabled, but I haven't done any actual testing to confirm that. I play with fps limited to 300 using RTSS on a standard 60hz monitor.
I have black frame appearing from time to time with and without Sven glider while using Thunder Storm spell. Do u have that flicker while standing still in city?
Not when standing still in the city. Often happens when there are a lot of lightning effects on the screen.
Would it be possible to send a savefile where this happens much? I have seen the blackscreen myself, usually it happens once after teleporting into town and walking a short bit.
I'll see if I can detect the game rendering "nothing" for a frame.

Heres my save. Go in difficulty normal and then to waypoint "glacial trail" or "ancient's way". I think it happens a lot there for me. Or outside of Lut Gholein when you kill a lot of Scarabs there is some flickering too...
It seems like it happens a lot during Paladins "zeal" attack. I'm playing a Zealot at the moment and have many more black frames as with my necro...
