ly_points(Sepal.Length, Sepal.Width, data = iris,
color = Species, glyph = Species,
hover = list(Sepal.Length, Sepal.Width))
p

p <- figure() %>%
ly_points(Sepal.Length, Sepal.Width, data = iris,
color = Species, glyph = Species,lname='foo',
hover = list(Sepal.Length, Sepal.Width))

Did I miss something?
Hi @saptarshiguha rbokeh has not been seriously maintained in 5 or 6 years. It is currently tied to an archaic version (0.12.15) of BokehJS. While I'd love to see rbokeh revitalized, I'm not an R user myself, and I've already got my hands full with the main Bokeh project, so it won't be by me. Realistically, someone from the R community would need to take an active interest in taking over maintenance and development entirely. In any case, in the mean time, I would advise you to look to other tools that are more actively supported.
Thank you for the update. Let me try using reticulate
