Hue motion sensor not recognised

I did follow the instructions to install the device handler and it seemed to run ok. However, SmartThins iOS (13.3) app (hub fw 000.028.00012) could not find the sensor. Any clues about what is happening? Thanks in advance!

I have the Hue Outdoor Motion Sensor, and had to change the "model" value from "SML001" to "SML002" before the app would find the device. This guy explains it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eCx1OTMZDAg
