Enhancement requests for Bogaudio SWITCH
Hi Matt,
i have a few requests for Switch. While trying to use it in a patch to replace another module as i am keen on space on screen. I found that SWITCH is giving me different result with the S&H i am triggering it with. Compared to the module i am trying to replace.
When i compare SWITCH with Flow from AS and the mute buttons on Mindmeld mixer, controlled by CV. The SWITCH module is reacting to much of all of the CV that is being sent from the S&H into the gate input. While Flow and Mindmeld mixer are are having a different more controlled behavior.
request 1 - menu entry Do you think you could add a menu entry that could allow for SWITCH to behave the same as Flow?
request 2 - menu entry can you add a menu entry to enable/disable button light reacting to gate input? so we can choose to have it on/off when desired.
request 3 - menu entry an invert for request 2, so that a user can choose wether they want the light to be on, when the gate is high or when it is low.
hope this makes any sense. Let me know if you need the patch, to see what i meant with behavior difference. (fwiw the s&h is set at +/- 10 volt)
edit: actually i just realize and checked to find out, LATCH solves request 1! so disregard request 1 please :)
Hey Latif,
Glad LATCH does what you want.
Not sure I understand requests 2 and 3 though -- are you looking for an option to mute/disable the gate CV? Or an option that turns the button into a mute for the gate CV? Or something else? I think I could do that but wanna be clear on the ask. Cheers!
Sorry for not being clear enough, what i am asking for is a visual feedback enhancement. In essence what the little green dots are doing, but then as amber on the bigger botton.
ie: #/ when gate is on, button is lit / when gate is off button is not lit. #/ with an option to invert this
This being optional through menu selection, as some people might not like this if the button lights up all the time. Hope i explained better now :)
