Allow disabling boblight from a shortcut

I wanted to be able to enable/disable boblight from my remote, but I don't see how this is possible at the moment. I've created a simple script that does this for me (https://github.com/alexiri/script.toggleboblight), but it would be nice to have the option built-in.
