Diasabling Tab Data doesn't stop memory tracking

Open martbase opened this issue 8 years ago • 1 comments

I disabled Tab Data from the Add-ons setting page because I have lots of tabs open (about 180) and its taking a few seconds to scan through them thus interrupting my scrolling when reading a page every now and then. This despite having set the seconds between memory data collection to 900. Is this a bug? Should it keep collecting data?

It would be nice to have an option to pause data collection temporarily without having to disable memory tracking. Alternatively have Tab Data stop collecting data when the add-on is disabled and continue once it is enabled again.

Interesting. (I typically have around 1,500 tabs in a session.)
