No, sorry. Write support is a lot of work, and I haven't had the time to do this.

I don't know about other tools, but "planned" is a loose term. It is on the list of things to do, but not likely to get done soon.

Thanks for the explanation. I did a quick bit of research. It looks simple enough to create a detached signature with gpg. I'll consider adding this to the release scripts....

In my experience, MP4 is by far the most common, followed by AVI and AVCHD, then MKV. So the ability to write AVI may have to be implemented before MKV....
