Unable to bind "²"

I'm trying to use "²" (top left corner of AZERTY keyboard) as Hotkey. It works but at startup I always get an error message Unable to bind "²".

I'll try to take a look into non-standard binds, this has cropped up with non-English keyboard layouts too. No guarantees.
