Anyway to save on memory?

This is a question and not an issue,.

Adding this library and the SD library and I guess the SPI lib as well has taken up a lot of space on my Uno. (not that there's much to begin with). Is there anything that can be done to reduce the dynamic memory used so I can load a 255 character string from sdconfigfile?

Before going to Mega, thought I'd ask.. Moving the SPI pins, will have to remake boards.

(Sorry for the delay in responding) I don't offhand know how. I'll make this a request to reduce the memory footprint of the library.
