Heres the 2 images the patched and unpatched one maybe that helps 🤷♂️ https://www.swisstransfer.com/d/635a46fa-ad90-4ac0-8987-24406bb52c5f (valid for 30 days)
https://gitlab.com/LineageOS/issues/android/-/issues/9135 Accidentally reported it here 🥲
Same on newest build https://github.com/bmax121/APatch/actions/runs/16396403844 Still getting the same crashes
I can reproduce the crash by searcing for Bitwarden in Obtainium. Pixel 7a, Android 15 (stock BP1A.250505.005.B1), 6.1.99-android14-11-gd7dac4b14270-ab12946699.
Also, on Pixel 7a, Android 16 (stock BP2A.250605.031.A2), 6.1.124-android14-11-g8d713f9e8e7b-ab13202960, crash happens right after connecting to a wifi network or enabling wifi hotspot.
Here is the end of /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops-0 for both:
p7a-a15-obtainium.txt
p7a-a16-wifi.txt
(Note that I produced the obtainium log with a self-compiled KernelPatch, however the wifi log was with the official KernelPatch build)
Questions?
Maybe same problem? https://github.com/bmax121/APatch/issues/879
I have Pixel 6a and can reproduce it with:
-
Lineage-22.2-20250802-nightly-bluejay-signed
-
APatch v11107
-
APatch_11107-6-ga19a746_11113-release-signed from https://github.com/bmax121/APatch/actions/runs/16704177272
-
Octopus (learning app)
-
TinyCam
-
Obtanium
-
ReVanced Manager
-
Firefox
-
Ring
-
TikTok (if I click on a Video)
-
ChatGPT Login
Interesting is about Firefox... it only crashes if wifi or/ both mobile internet activated. TinyCam, Obtanium, Octopus, ReVanced Manager crashes even without internet.
Kernel-Version: 6.1.99-android14-11-gd7dac4b14270-ab12946699
KernelPatch version: 0.12.0
By the way, I didn't have this problem with same Pixel 6a with:
lineage-21.0-20241228-bluejay (Android 14) APatch_10763_10763-release
Yesterday, my Pixel 6a kept restarting all day.
I hadn't changed anything beforehand. Since I didn't have time, I turned it off. Today, no restarts—except when I open most of the apps (see above).
Okay, I uninstalled APatch and went back to Magisk.
It's pointless. Nothing works. Almost every app causes a restart because of APatch.
It should be stated clearly on the APatch homepage that it does not work with kernel version 6.1.99-android14-11-gd7dac4b14270-ab12946699
