Seems to be caused by https://github.com/realm/realm-java/issues/7798, introduced in this [commit](https://github.com/vector-im/element-android/commit/343837ff14080721f8ea914eedc72ee00a588517) and this [PR](https://github.com/vector-im/element-android/pull/8349). Thanks @jmartinesp for the investigation.

I am going to prepare a hotifx 1.5.13. The app is crashing a lot, due to OOM when parsing the sync response. Seems to be since 1.5.8 (so previous release)....

I think this may be fixed by #6888, in 1.4.34, but this is already the version you are using, so there is something else. Adding some label for now.
