Refresh doesn't show result of reevaluation

The interface visibly refreshes when I hit Refresh, but the result of the expected reevaluation doesn't show, just the result of the previous evaluation. Navigating away from the attribute and returning doesn't show the reevaluation either. Only upon restarting the program are new changes in the source code detected.
