Manually typing a full @handle on desktop tries to treat it as a link instead of a handle

Describe the bug

On mobile fully typing a handle (like @jetpa.cktuxe.do) automatically makes it a user tag. On desktop it ignores the @ and tries to make it a link card.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Fully type a user handle in the desktop interface without selecting it from the autocomplete list.

Expected behavior

Behavior that matches the mobile behavior, prioritizing the user handle over the url and trying to make it a user tag instead of a link card.

I think behavior around this has changed enough in the past year that it doesn't really make sense as an issue anymore :)
