privacy - make following/followers and lists logged in to view (at app level)
Once bluesky removes the walled garden - am concerned people will log out - and still be able to 'easily' view users we follow/following to mass target. This concern is also added to custom lists. This is a similar approach to twitter/instagram
Solution - make viewing follows/following and lists required to login to view (understandably this is only at the web/app level and not at the proto level)
This is one step to minimize harassment, and make it more difficult to target users/followers/following.
since profiles have not gone public yet - this may already be something you have planned,
now that this feature is live - I cant think of any use case where needing to know who someone is following is (easily) viewable while not logged in. (keep the follower numbers - great, but not who the people are). Just being able to do that additional step to minimize any bad actors from easily viewing follows i think is a huge step in the right direction. hopefully this can normalize and set a standard for other apps to follow.
everything about the new update in regards to public profiles is perfect. i like that lists and feeds are hidden while public. i like that people can see posts/media tab
