Support local cameras (webcam)

Feature request: add support for local cameras in the video player so that I can have a selfie camera overlaid on the ROV camera to capture reactions and voice while driving :slightly_smiling_face:

In that vein, should we also create widgets for receiving and recording audio, or is that already possible with our existing video player and video recorder widgets?

We don't play nor record the audio today, because it does not exist, but the widget is totally capable to do that. It's just a matter of activating the audio tracks.

Ans yes, once we add support for the local cameras, we should definitely enable that.
