Firebug and the fileupload plugin crash Firefox

Hi,

Recently Firefox crashes when uploading with your excellent fileupload plugin, if firebug is open. This isn't consistent but it happens quite often. Firefox v.26

Thanks for your report. I'll mark this as browser bug for the time being, as I lack the time to try to debug it with Firebug.

Update: After resetting my profile the problem seems to have disappeared.

Update2: Unfortunately this is still an issue. Not sure what's causing this. I hope it'll be fixed in future FF versions.

This often happened to me if I upload rather larger files (> 100MB) and have the Network Tab of Firebug open. Since Firefox 27 is out, I didn't see this error anymore, but I'm not sure it is completely gone. But anyway I think it is/was not a bug in the plugin but in Firebug or Firefox.

I agree and I am quite certain this isn't a plugin bug but a Firebug/Firefox issue. If Firebug is closed I don't have a problem. The files I upload are relatively small in size (~2 MB) and not necessarily a large amount.
