Why has my issue been closed with a reference to this issue ticket?

The issues tracker for this project should only be used for bugs or feature requests. For support requests, please refer to the support section of the README.

But this is a bug, not a support request!

To make sure that your issue is really a bug, please try to reproduce it with the demo or the master branch of the repository. If an issue has been clearly identified as a bug but has been incorrectly closed before, feel free to reopen it.

Why can't I get support on this issue tracker?

Unfortunately, using this tracker for support requests made it unusable to actually track issues, since no one could tell which are real issues by looking at thousands of open tickets.

However I do acknowledge that a higher amount of support requests can also indicate a lack of proper documentation. Suggestions to Wiki edits are highly welcome.

Why don't you reply to my support request?

Developing and supporting open source software takes a lot of time and I wouldn't be able to create new projects or maintain this one, if I would reply to every individual support request.

If you didn't get any useful replies, please try to make it easier for others to help you by

• making sure that the same or a similar question has not already been answered
• trying different approaches to your problem before posting a question
• going through the Documentation to better understand the software you're using
• listing very detailed information about your problem setup, e.g. as a minimum the version you used and the version of your browser
• providing a step-by-step guide on how to reproduce it
