Import TOPO error
Hi,
Hope it's okay I issue here rather than Food4Rhino.
Getting the following from the Import TOPO component with 0.3.5 and 0.3.7 installed through Package Manager (0.2.0 works, manual install from Food4Rhino). Actually get the same error for most components I've tested so far.
1. Solution exception:The type initializer for 'RESTful.GdalConfiguration' threw an exception.
This is a great place to log issues!
This error is a known problem that I can't seem to figure out. But there is a work-around for now. Try going to your Grasshopper Settings>Solver>Plug-in Loading>Heron and click on the puzzle icon until it shows a disk. The package manager installs Heron in a different location than the Components Folder, so Heron is trying to figure out where it is on your computer and where the sub-folders are with all the GDAL libraries and loading directly from disk seems to resolve the issue. The reason it's been a tricky bug is that it doesn't happen to everyone. In fact, if I install Heron as one user on my own machine I get the error, but if I install as a different user on the same machine, there is no issue. The only difference is that the first user had previous versions of Heron installed.
Let me know if this works.
Thanks! It worked. I'm getting some other issues though. I'll post another issue so you can resolve this one.
EDIT: Ignore last comment. I now see the importance of setting the earth anchor point.
I'm going to leave this open as the problem really isn't fixed yet. And yes, setting the EAP is key.
