Cannot read property 'filterFiles' of null

i have followed the instruction but it is not working

npm install --save redux-file-upload

import { FileUpload } from 'redux-file-upload'

when i add a file i get error Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property 'filterFiles' of null....
