Curious about this as my 980 works. Did you have any specific errors?
sorry for my english and my late reply. my robot is well recognized siri command works perfectly but when it returns to its dock, the plugin no longer connects. I must restart homebridge for it to work again
Oh yes, I believe myself and others have experienced the same thing. I don’t think it’s limited to just our 980s though.
is there a solution to solve the problem? or wait for an update?

I have a similar issue with my 960, although it seems to happen more often when my Roomba doesn't make it back to the dock and the battery dies. Even after placing the Roomba on the dock and letting it charge, the plugin will report that it is unable to connect to the Roomba until I restart Homebridge.
I'm having the same problem with my 980 lately. I had been having trouble getting my J7 to work, but it's finally working correctly now that I disabled multi-room support. My 980n will trigger correctly, but it stops connecting when it completes a job. It all works again if I restart the plug-in though. It just means I have to do that nightly, which defeats a lot of the automatization that HomeKit and other similar services allow.
Is there any way to set the plug-in or bridge to automatically restart at a set time nightly?
This Saturday I am hoping to at least publish a beta for version 3.0 which should fix this issue. I will let you know when it is available to try out
I installed the newest beta.... and it will not connect to my 980 at all. I reverted to the current release and it connects fine.
