Doesn't build and run locally

Following the README instructions I have been unable to build and run this project locally. I would like to do a PR to fix the problem in #354, but it is hard since I can't get it to run locally.

In the browser console I see: Uncaught ReferenceError: Sentry is not defined and Uncaught ReferenceError: ejs is not defined
