The GPL and the AppStore

The license is lGPL. I'm not sure if the same applies.

I think it does, the AppStore prevents free redistribution (the price is irrelevant) which conflicts IMO with both the GPL and LGPL.

If Blockchain own's the copyright to all the code then they are free to dual licence the code. Proprietary for distribution on the app store and LGPL for Cydia.

Any contributions from developers must have copyright assigned to Blockchain or made public domain otherwise the contributions would not be able to be used in the app store version.

I would suggest adding a Copyright Assignment Agreement
