Wallets that require email authorization...

I created a wallet on the website. it required an e-mail address. now that I try to use it with the API I get the error:

Wallets that require email authorization are currently not supported in the Wallet API. Please disable this in your wallet settings, or add the IP address of this server to your wallet IP whitelist

but I've looked everywhere for a way to disable it and can't find it. can I not use my wallet using the API?
