No GUI Window in macOS v1.0.26
Describe the bug
- Launching the latest release (v1.0.26) of the application on macOS doesn't spawn an application window.
- Manually attempting to open a New Chat also results in nothing happening.
- The only interaction is when quitting Goose, a modal 'really quit?' dialog appears.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Download the latest release (v1.0.26) for silicon.
- Extract the archive and move the app to
/Applications(replacing a prior version if required). - Launch
Goose.appby 2x clicking it's icon. - See nothing. Selecting
New Chat WindoworFocus Goose Windowfrom theEditmenu (or using the relative keyboard shortcuts) results in nothing. - Selecting
Quit Goosefrom theGoosemenu, or the keyboard shortcut both produce the only evidence the application was running in the form of a 'really quit?' dialog box. - note: replacing
Goose.appwith the prior releasev1.0.24and repeating the above steps 1-3 result in the expected new Goose application window opening.
Expected behavior
- Launching
Goose.appfromFinder.appshould open a new application window. Otherwise, issuing theNew Chatcommand withGoose.apprunning should open a new application window.
Please provide following information:
- OS & Arch: macOS: Sequoia 15.5 (24F74) / silicon (m3)
- Interface: [UI] <-- so far the CLI appears to function without issue, the
--versioncommand responds with the current version (v1.0.26) - Version: [v1.0.26]
