Recently I update the shader to version 2. When I click 'shift'+'I', then '2', I see that it justs says (rgb), while v1 also had (luma), does this makes a difference? (It might be placebo, but I think v1 was better). And which release of version 2 you think is the best?

Also, I wanted to know what mpv settings you think are the best to use with your shader, to not conflict with it. Now I am using those:

profile=gpu-hq scale=ewa_lanczossharp cscale=ewa_lanczossharp dscale=mitchell and KrigBilateral shader for chroma.

Thanks in advance.

I have an Nvidia card

gpu-api=vulkan vulkan-async-transfer=yes vulkan-async-compute=yes vo=gpu hwdec=cuda profile=gpu-hq scale=ewa_lanczossharp cscale=ewa_lanczossoft dscale=mitchell

I'm using v2.0 RC5 and with some non-anime videos mpv crash on startup

Try without hwdec cuda and see if it crashes.

I just write here my review of the version 2.1aL I think this is the best anime upscaler so far, especially this latest version, it's incredible, black magic. 480p to 1080p is near the perfection. I really appretiate your work! Thank you!

Can you tell me which combination of shaders are you using, I also want to use this for scaling/refining 360/480/720 to 1080p res but I don't know which shaders to use, does it upscale every video to 4k?
