VSync not working, Linux

I have Monkey2 installed and working great on my Ubuntu 17.10 Lenovo Thinkpad P70 w/ Nvidia Quadro M600M

However, vsync does not appear to work at all, even with SwapInterfal set to 1. Everything runs at max framerate, making nearly all Banans unplayable (unless they use delta timing). Spacechimps reports over 3900 FPS
