Who can help with Translations?
As we begin to flesh out our docs we want to be able to support as many translations as we can. And we can't do this without the help of the Blitz community. While it's still a little down the road, the tentative plan is to follow a similar implementation as the react docs. We've already had a number of folks volunteering to help out translating for various languages!
For now, I'm going to use this as a placeholder to keep a running list of people and the language they offered to help with so that we have an idea of where we're at. Feel free to volunteer in a comment and I'll update the list. If you already mentioned volunteering and I missed you, my apologies, please comment so I can get you on here. Thanks!

What a nice team this is! Thanks for keeping a list, although I think you might've included me in the russian category by mistake
I could take a crack at doing german translations too but I'm a bit rusty and would probably need a second opinion on certain things.

@emeraldsanto Darn it, fixed!
Awesome, I put you under German too. And no worries, every bit helps. Once we get going we'll be able to collaborate on making sure we're getting things right in the PRs.
Awesome @jasonblalock, thank you for organizing this!

HURRAY!! We're officially kicking off our website/docs translations project!!
How it works:
- The english repo is our source of truth: https://github.com/blitz-js/blitzjs.com
- Each translation get's it's own repo and subdomain like: https://github.com/blitz-js/es.blitzjs.com
- On a periodic schedule (currently every Monday), a bot will open a PR to each translation repo with the changes from the main english repo. The maintainers of the translation will then make any further translations if needed before merging that PR.
If you want to help translate a language, read the instructions at https://github.com/blitz-js/blitzjs.com-translation. As described there, the first task is to add a {lang-code}.json
file with the github usernames of who will be maintainers of that translation. Then each translation repo will have a master issue to track translation progress and for different people to claim pages to translate. Like this: https://github.com/blitz-js/es.blitzjs.com/issues/1
It's been a long time since some of you said you wanted to help, so we won't add any of you automatically.
I can help for French :D
I can help with Spanish as well (btw great work guys π)
Hi π, I can provide help with Spanish!
Awesome y'all! Please follow the instructions at https://github.com/blitz-js/blitzjs.com-translation and open a PR to that repo with your language file.
Also we can create language channels in Discord as a place for collaboration on this
I would be glad to help with Spanish
