Noticeably increased latency when using this add-on

Hi,

I love the idea of this add-on, but am unable to use it because of the noticeably increased latency when its enabled. This happens even if I switch to using a different synthesizer, e.g ESpeak NG.

Hi @Neurrone,

I can not properly diagnose such an issue, unless I get information about your system, NVDA, RAM, processor..etc.

Also I need to know your system load while using this add-on, and what version of the add-on you're using.

I'm using a Thinkpad T480 with an I7-8550U processor, a 512GB NVME SSD and 16gb of ram. I'm also not doing anything resource intensive in the background, so I don't think hardware is the issue here.

I'm using windows 10 1903, the latest NVDA alpha snapshot at time of writing and version 6.0b2 of the add-on. If it helps, its more noticeable when moving about in Firefox

I have same issue. I don't have low hardware but it makes lag when using the computer. Some sounds like texbox, combobox while playing it's cracking. Tried on both py 2 and py 3 nvdas.
