I am also having the same issue whereby the camera is inverted. Device: Nexus 5X OS: 8.1.0

some happen on my Nexus 5x, But okay on Pixel 3, hopefully it only happen in few devices

I believe the problem lies in the surfaceview. I will try to resolve it and push the update for you.

For me on Nexus 7 the camera is not inverted, but somehow squeezed. Maybe it is using the wrong dimensions…
