Obtained result: the % bar would freeze i can't move with the dpad or thumbsticks and i need to either power down the pstv or just unlplug it which i heard it bad to do Expected result: game to download like normal
Its not a just one game its a bunch of them and dlcs do it i didn't try updates yet But it weird because only certain ones have this issue
You mean the whole pstv is frozen? Even the PS button does not work? Have you tried waiting a minute or so, just in case?
No i can press the ps button so its not completely frozen and yea i waited for a good 2-3 mintues when i tried it last night it sat at 0kb and i have it connected wired not wireless so the speed should be a steady 2-3mb
Something like this, I'd give at least 10 minutes before declaring it fully frozen.
If it's stuck at 0kb/s it's possible your having problems connecting to the server. Try unplugging your router for 30 seconds - 1 minute, then plugging it back in (this should wipe the router's internal DNS cache, letting it build a new one; if you were on a PC I'd be suggesting the "ipconfig /flushdns" command).
Other than that... Try NPS browser to get the games.
Its frozen and i gave it some time and no its not a sever issue or my router i have it connected wired so the connection works fine also its give me a error after about 10-15 mintues so thank you
The type of connection issue I'm thinking is an internet routing issue, where one of the nodes your trying to pass through to get to the download servers is down (this is a fairly common thing). Basically the internet on the other side of your router. The DNS cache I'm talking about wiping is the one you router uses to connect to outside of your house.
Its not a router issue one more time

And I'll repeat, I'm not saying it's a router issue, I'm saying it might be an internet issue.

When troubleshooting cache poisoning or other internet connectivity issues, a computer administrator may wish to flush (i.e. clear, reset, or erase) a DNS cache. Since clearing the DNS cache removes all the entries, it deletes any invalid records too and forces your computer to repopulate those addresses the next time you try accessing those websites. These new addresses are taken from the DNS server your network is setup to use.
A router can have a DNS cache as well, which is why rebooting a router is often a troubleshooting step. For the same reason you might flush the DNS cache on your computer, you can reboot your router to clear the DNS entries stored in its temporary memory.
Doing a reset of your router is just the easiest way to flush it's DNS cache.
I'll say again its not either of them like smh fr

I tried downloading 6 games and dlcs, switched between the games and dlcs list during download, but couldn't reproduce this... If you can find a more specific condition on which this bug occur it would help...
Try connecting to your phone 4G routed on Wi-Fi and downloading a small game to see if it works. Or going to a friend's house (preferably one with a different internet connection company).

I am having the same issue with my Vita, FW 3.60 on the latest PKG. I had to download an earlier version (of PKG) to get anything to work. I noticed this issues mainly happened when trying to download a game with a patch.
Same here on PSTV 3.60. The download and everything is fine in the background, The PKGJ UI itself just locks up for a good 10 seconds after starting a download and even after it starts responding it's very slow to do so. Only registers every other key press.
