[Bug] Duplicate brumdcrump

Describe the bug

The breadcrumb on repos is duplicated sometimes.

To Reproduce

Unclear. This regularly happens on browsers I daily drive, but not in Chromium where I normally test changes.

Expected behavior

The breadcrumb on repos is not duplicated.

I'm only able to replicate this on Firefox with hard refreshes. I have a feeling there may be a race condition.

Edit: I seem to have lost the ability to replicate after testing with Firefox throttling.

I haven't seen duplicate breadcrumbs like this since working on 1.6.11 which required fixing sections of this code. I have a feeling the issue may be fixed.

If I don't see duplicates and no other reports come in over the next few weeks, I'm going to close this out.
