view doesnt scroll to bottom upon sending message

when you send a message, i feel that the app should scroll to the bottom, it's not doing this for me when I send a message. Also not doing it on received messages either, and not marking as read (possible separate issue)

Can confirm this, it should go automatic wen sending a message but it isn't.
